Full-Time Lead Montessori-Certified Teacher

Holds Montessori certification. First-line supervisor in a designated class or over a designated team of teachers. Guide who helps direct the children’s activities academically, spiritually, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment that challenges each child to reach his/her fullest potential in these developmental areas, in accordance with Montessori philosophy and Ponderosa Montessori policies and procedures. Liaison between the Director and the team.

Full-Time Lead Non-Montessori-CertifiedTeacher

First-line supervisor in a designated class or over a designated team of teachers. Guide who helps direct the children’s activities academically, spiritually, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment that challenges each child to reach his/her fullest potential in these developmental areas, in accordance with Ponderosa Montessori policies and procedures. Liaison between the Director and the team.

Full-Time Assistant Teacher

Support the Lead Teacher to create and maintain a challenging environment that provides the opportunity for each child to reach his/her fullest potential in accordance with the Montessori philosophy and Ponderosa Montessori policies and procedures. Care and educate the children under the Lead Teacher's guidance. Learn to implement the Montessori principals and philosophy in assisting the child in self education.

Part-Time Assistant Teacher

Support the Lead Teacher to create and maintain a challenging environment that provides the opportunity for each child to reach his/her fullest potential in accordance with the Montessori philosophy and Ponderosa Montessori policies and procedures. Care and educate the children under the Lead Teacher's guidance. Learn to implement the Montessori principals and philosophy in assisting the child in self education.

Substitute

Fill in for a sick or absent teacher and under most circumstances work with a second regularly scheduled teacher in the classroom. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the child and assist the regular staff member with classroom management.
